One of the greatest gifts you can pass on to your child is a strong sense of values. It's easy to do through reading aloud.

Honolulu Emblem Club #379, Ready to Help Readers
The Honolulu Emblem Club #379 is a Read To Me favorite. Their support of literacy has helped us distribute many newborn packets to growing families.

Craft Corner:  Tree of Thanks
This craft is a great way to inspire thoughts of gratitude in young and old and a beautiful reminder of what we should be thankful for.

Recommended Read Alouds: Virtues and Values
Reading picture books is a great way to teach children values. In one sitting, children can learn valuable lessons which inspire them to do good and be good.

Run & Read 2010
This year the Run & Read will be taking place once again at Windward Community College. After the run all are invited to take part in the family activities and special read alouds open to the public.
