It was so nice to see all of our regular toddlers It was so nice to see all of our regular toddlers and their older siblings today for Keiki Time at @pearlridge We selected social-emotional learning as the theme, guiding the story through identifying, labeling, and sharing how emotions feel and look like, plus possible ways to cope when experiencing strong feelings. Coincidentally, it was the last Keiki Time event for some of our longtime attendees because they start their first day of school next week. 🥺 I think we were the ones who needed to hear the books today. 😭😭😭 Executive Director Dannah Barnes curated the reads: Happy Hippo, Angry Duck by Sandra Boynton Feel Calm by Andy Pizza and Sophie Miller The Pigeon Has Feelings, Too! by Mo Willems I Need A Hug! by Aaron Blabey Broken by X.
