Retirement Plan
Making a distribution to Read To Me International through a retirement plan, such as a traditional or Roth IRA, can also help lower income and taxes for those who are age 70½ and older. Contact your financial professional to discuss this option. Please call or email Read To Me International to tell us of your intent to donate through a retirement plan.
Donating Appreciated Stocks
There are favorable tax rules for donors who want to donate long-term stock (stock owned for longer than one year). Donors may be able to receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift and may not need to pay capital gains on appreciated stock. Download and complete the stock donation form. The donation must be directly transferred to Read To Me International. Please call or email Read To Me International to tell us of your intent to donate through stock.
